Last week, we welcomed Dr. John and Robin Gissal, Mr. Dave and Terri Scholz, and Mr. Curt and Kim Bowe to GRACE Mountain for a week of serving. They built 9 houses, 1 food distribution, dental evaluation for 180 people, cleaned 40 people’s teeth, performed 65 dental procedures, spent time with sponsored children, and made lasting relationships with some great teachers. Not bad for five days of work for only 7 people!
The students at the school enjoyed lots of fun activities celebrating Valentine’s Day! They spent the day making art activities, playing games, and eating ice cream. Mr. John and Mrs. Laurie King gave kindergarten through fourth grade students special Valentine’s goodie bags. The fifth through fifth grade boys received candy bags and the girls received bouquets of flowers.
