Michael and Deidra Taylor are the founders of Shining Light Abroad Ministries. After being involved in ministry in Guatemala since 1999, they believe God has called their family to permanently serve and minister to the people of Guatemala. In June 2017, they moved their family to El Tejar, Guatemala, in order to evangelize and disciple in surrounding areas. They will use various English Academies, computer classes, and assistant directors of an educational program as platforms to build relationships with the Guatemalans. Through using the Bible to teach English, the goal is to introduce them to salvation through Christ and invest in spiritual growth. They are excited about the many things God has in store for their family and ministry.
