It is a good thing to have a 9,000 square feet building, a 2,000 square feet feeding center, and 11 acres of land when the Education Department and the Health Department are determining whether or not the students can return to in person classes!
We received news late yesterday afternoon that the Education and Health Department for the state of Chimlatenango would be at the school to analyze and evaluate our classrooms, outside space, and buildings. They would observe the children as they received food and academic classes. They would determine if we meet all standards in order to have in person classes for 2022.
We are the first school to receive permission from the Education Department and the Health Department to provide in person classes for the state of Chimaltenango!!!! We exceeded their expectations!
For the past year we have been operating as a feeding center with permission from the government officials and health officials. We are sooo happy to now be operating as a school! We will continue to teach in small groups with new regulations, but this is definitely good news for us!
We were able to share testimonies of how God is using our ministry to provide for the physical, academic, and spiritual needs of the children. To God Be the Glory!
