Last week, our mountain was busy because we fed 200 people a traditional Thanksgiving dinner within 2 days. The children enjoyed turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, cake, and coke. The workers enjoyed the more traditional lunch with turkey, sweet potatoes, casseroles, etc. Our neighbors joined my family around the table with a very traditional Thanksgiving dinner with turkey, ham, and all of the trimmings. Thankfully my mom made the cornbread dressing, sweet potato casseroles, and desserts. It was all delicious and there were very little leftovers.
We are now anxiously waiting for the Grace December team to arrive on Grace Mountain. We have the week packed with lots of ministering. Our main focus will be to minister to the families of the school through dinners and gifts. We plan to feed approximately 600 people which means they will all hear the Gospel. We truly believe this will be the best Christmas trip yet.
I just do not have time to blog on a daily basis like some people do! Neither do I post things on facebook. However, Soy will post the events on his facebook and my dad will keep people updated on his blog. I will be the only one working–Just saying!
