We are grateful God has blessed us with some wonderful people in our lives. So many of you have expressed your sympathy to our family during the passing of my paternal grandfather. Thank you Friendship Baptist Church for supporting and encouraging my dad and mom during this time. Thank you to those who attended the funeral to show support for my dad. A simple “Thank You” doesn’t seem adequate. Thank you to Pastor Joe David, Bro. Jack Bailey, and Danville Baptist for being part of the celebration and serving the family.
Although it was not possible for us to be in Alabama, I am grateful for technology. Thankfully, we were able to watch the celebration of life for my grandfather. We loved being reminded of how his life was eternally changed on May 19, 1969! We are certain he is telling everyone in heaven, “Listen to my story!”
