We are extremely excited to have the responsibility for working with the children at GRACE feeding center on a daily basis. We are partnering with GRACE Ministries as we will be in charge of the daily activities for all 100 children. Since we will be responsible for the “classroom” activities, Lazaro Suruy will have more time for ministering to the families in the feeding center and the church. It is a good thing!
The priority of the feeding center is to teach the children about Jesus, succeed in academics, learn English, learn basic computer skills, eat a nutritious meal, and enjoy being a kid. I enjoy teaching and Soy enjoys computers and playing so it should be great combination.
We will be intentional on having communication with the sponsors of each child. We think it is important for the children to know there are people in America who are praying and believing in them.
