If you live in Michigan then this is your personal invitation to hear about the great things happening with Grace Ministries! We are excited to have people returning to Guatemala. Although this year has been different, we have welcomed groups throughout the months of June and July. Thankfully, we have had no problems with people entering Guatemala or returning to the United States. It is a little comical at how people are surprised at the normalcy in Guatemala. The daily life is very different then what is described in the media–Imagine that!
I am copying my dad’s email sent to the people in Michigan. We want to make sure everyone knows about the opportunity to be part of the meeting. Can anyone attend? Yes! Will it be a fundraiser? No! The purpose is simply to reconnect, answer questions, and give some information about the ministry.
We are feeling very confident about the trips reaching the maximum limit of participants. The December 2022 trip is at capacity. The June and July 2022 trips are filling up fast. This is a good thing!

Greetings in the precious name of Jesus. I trust you and your family are doing well. I have truly missed my Michigan friends over the past eighteen months or so.
My wife, Lisa, and I are flying to Michigan in August. We are going to host a GRACE Ministries meeting on Wednesday evening, August 11, at the Vriesland Church – 6839 Byron Road Zeeland, MI 49464. Our plans are to begin this meeting at 7:00PM. We want to allow our friends from Kalamazoo and other areas to have time to get off work and make it to the meeting.
GRACE Ministries will provide pizza and drinks. We ask those attending to bring a dessert, if possible.
This will be an opportunity to get an update on GRACE Ministries and to sign up for the Thursday, January 27, through Thursday, February 3, 2022 trip or the Thursday, February 3, through Thursday, February 10, 2022 trip.
One final thing – would you send me a rsvp email no later than Tuesday, August 10, to let me know you will attend the meeting and how many folks will be with you? Also, this meeting is for anyone interested in GRACE Ministries even if they are not going on one of the 2022 trips.
