Want to Serve in Guatemala?

Last year, we only had 9 teams serve in Guatemala. We breathed a sigh of relief when 2020 was over, but 2021 has proven to be difficult also. This year we will only have 12 teams serve in Guatemala. For the most part these teams will be very small. Teams and people are choosing not to come for various reasons. We have zero problems with the individual decisions.

However, several people have sent emails asking about the possibility of serving in Guatemala. We have several GRACE trips scheduled for this year.

What are the dates for the trips? The dates are June 17-24, July 15-22, and December 1-8.

Who can participate in the trips? Anyone who has completed the 9th grade!

Is there a certain protocol for entering Guatemala and the United States? Yes, Guatemala requires you to have a negative nasal Covid test 72 hours prior to entering Guatemala. The United States requires you to have a negative Covid test 72 hours prior to entering the United States. (There have been more than 60 people return to the United States after serving or visiting Guatemala. All 60+ people have received a negative Covid test!)
