2 Days-3 Countries-2 Layovers-3 Flights-4 Airports-2 Borders- Mexico Hotel-15 hours in airport/on plane-3 hours sitting at an extremely hot border-8+ hours of driving–Finally Home! We left at 3am on Wednesday and arrived to our home at 7:00pm on Thursday. We arrived home to no lights and no water! Thankfully, we had a Plan B! Many of you prayed for us as we traveled and we are grateful. Overall we had zero problems. The girls did great! They only got “in trouble” one time for laughing too loud (we were tired)!
Now we are back to reality! We were blessed to be able to visit family for several weeks. I had to laugh when I was sitting on the plane and received the text “Mobile County School will begin in person classes beginning on Monday”. Although most parents and teachers felt the stress of virtual learning, my girls enjoyed late night swimming, sleepovers, and vacations with cousins. I felt the Lord remind me that He cares about the little things–the things my girls love the most. Our time with family and friends was good for our souls. Back to reality also means no more limitless junk food! Little Debbie is very limited in our house. Lizzi said “The best thing about Poppy and Mimi’s house are these candy bowls!” My kids think a bag of chips and coke are a necessity at Pops and Maw-Maw’s house.
I have done a horrible job at blogging! Our ministry has not skipped a beat! We will update everything going on within the next few days. We are blessed.
