This weekend we spent the morning at the graduation of Dayana. Dayana did not attend school for a year, but we encouraged her to finish high school. She helped at the center for over a year with the requirement being she had to finish school. She was very proud as she walked across the stage! If you have ever supported SLAM then you have supported Dayana. You made it possible for her to finish school! (Not the best pics)
At 4:30 am, Soy drove 4 teachers to the city to attend a conference titled “Multilingual Student”. Our goal is to provide our teachers with resources and training to make them effective teachers for our students. By investing in teachers, you are investing in all of the children. If you support our ministry then you support our teachers!
