On Monday, I watched Soy drive up to the construction site. The workers starting yelling for each other to come and Soy became really popular. He was passing out energy drinks! He doesn’t want them to slow down in the construction so he is supplying them with energy drinks (no worries–the energy drinks are not as strong as the U.S. ones). I give them fried chicken and Soy gives them energy drinks! Whatever it takes!
For several weeks, it was hard to see the progress of the construction. We knew they were working hard and each column of rebar was being filled with concrete–bucket by bucket. However, it is difficult to video that type of work and progress. Here are a few pictures of the progress for the roof of the first floor.
