Within the last week, we have been blessed to have several teams interact with the kids at the feeding center. Last week, Thelma Baptist, led by Bro. Doug Chappelle, built a new playground for the kids, built two garden beds, and repaired parts of the stage. They were a huge blessing to us all week. They even blessed our ministry with a new projector–we are grateful.
A garden club led by Johanna Roman (Mr. Paul’s niece) from Texas planted vegetable with about 16 of the kids. They taught the kids several lessons about vegetables and fruits. The kids loved the activity, and we are excited to watch the vegetables grow.
A team from Mobile/Citronelle led by Jody Odom led a VBS for the kids with a Bible Story, refreshments, and activities. The team also allowed the kids to sing and play with them which is always a treat!
I am not the best at taking pictures, but it is especially hard when I misplace my phone. I took some pictures, but now I just need to find my phone! Thanks to one of the team members (Ashley) I “borrowed pictures from facebook!
