I definitely receive the slacker award for consistency in writing a blog. My parents along with Ross and Kathy Genzink left this past Thursday, and they worked us the entire time. Meetings, feeding 300 people, feeding center, replacing water heaters kept us all busy. It was fun to watch the majority of the kids at My Special Treasure School eat fried chicken for the very first time. If you want to enjoy a relaxing week in Guatemala then do not come with Teddie Turrentine or Ross Genzink!
Tess has finished testing almost every child at the center in order to evaluate them for specific reading levels. However, sweet 5 year-old Abner is confident in his ability to read. You have to respect the level of confidence although he has no idea what he is doing. Too funny not to share!
