What If?

The other night, I hugged the cutest 11 year old girl as she told me about her fears.   Unfortunately, these were not the normal fears of a child, but all of the “What If’s” of a child who has experienced great loss and trauma.  This mama could not look her in the eyes and … More What If?

More Family!

“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. … More More Family!

Friendships!

One of my favorite things to do is to listen to the North Americans talk about their love for Guatemala. I see the excitement on their faces and hear the joy in their voices. I am taking advantage of having some guest blog writers express their love for our ministry or to challenge each of … More Friendships!

We are so grateful for all of our teachers who nurture, hug, love, counsel, smile, and invest in every child.   Our teachers are positive examples to each student.  Just like a mother, they play such an important role in every life.  There are so many similarities between … More Happy Mother’s Day!

Worth the Time!

The days seem long.  The week is filled with activities.  People are tired.  The leader is overwhelmed.  Yet, many teams take the time to listen to us brag about everything God is doing in Grace Ministries.  We are extremely appreciative for this!   I always say that the buildings are beautiful, but the children and … More Worth the Time!
