It is so refreshing to have a team serve alongside us. My favorite part is seeing the excitement from the children and the workers when they are reconnected with people from the states. The friendships are very special to each of them.
In a couple of hours, the team will go to the community and finish building about 5 houses. The team has built a total of 20 houses!
You would not believe the amount of supplies the team brought for ministry in Guatemala! Hats, jewelry, blankets, school supplies, books, etc are all being used to bless the people. I love how they are making a list of items to bring next year!
This team will end the week strong as they will accomplisha lot of ministry in various areas. 20 houses built, 20 house dedications, 3 food distributions, cooking and serving lunch for 150 people at the church, cooking and serving lunch for 60 people at the dump, hosting 7 families for supper, 30 haircuts, organizing a lot of school supplies, 100 tie dye shirts, hosting 25 workers for supper, and helping 12 girls find the perfect quinceañera dress, VBS for 200 children, and having an ice cream/soccer party at the school!!!
