The team left at 6 a.m. Sunday morning and traveled two hours to their destination. The crossed a couple of ravines and rivers to serve a community impacted by the volcano. Why so early? If it begins raining then it is impossible to cross back through the rivers–They didn’t want to spend the night in the village. They presented the Gospel and provided food bags for 200 families. The majority of the team stopped by Antigua for lunch and returned back to the mission house before 3:00. They attended GRACE Church where Mr. Jeff Holifield preached to the crowd. After church, there were over 100 families served lasagna, bread, cake, and cotton candy. It was a long, but good day.
