The days seem long. The week is filled with activities. People are tired. The leader is overwhelmed. Yet, many teams take the time to listen to us brag about everything God is doing in Grace Ministries. We are extremely appreciative for this!
I always say that the buildings are beautiful, but the children and the teachers are the real beauty of our ministry.
We are so grateful for the teams who take the extra 45 minutes to come see our children sing! A testimony about trusting God, stories of some of the children, energetic singing, and dancing with students—every person leaves talking about how much they enjoyed the children.
Tom Compagner said, “Every team should be required to see the children’s program at the school!” I couldn’t agree more—LOL!
The teachers always enjoy eating supper with the groups. It is a great time of building relationships, showing appreciation, and having fun. This current group even practiced their Spanish by playing a game of Uno!
If you are coming to Guatemala in 2024, make sure you take the time build relationships with some of the greatest people in Grace Ministries. You won’t regret it! It is worth the time!
