Last night our oldest daughter, Lizzi, said “I feel so loved!”
Our family likes to be the ones to love on people. We like to be the ones to help in the time of need. We like to be the ones to comfort other people. We like to be the ones to send the flowers, cook the meals, and give to others.
Over the past twelve days, we have been the recipients of so much love. While the tears are flowing from sorrow, they are also flowing from knowing that we are loved. I can’t even begin to tell you all of the ways people are ministering to us. From cooking meals to buying gifts for my girls to planting flowers to cleaning the church, there have been countless people helping us.
This is such a true example of the Body of Christ.
How do people walk through life without a church family?
Thank you to each person who has simply loved us.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.1 John 4:7
