The Good Kind of Exhaustion!

The good kind of exhaustion! The kind of exhaustion where you do not need to be rocked to sleep! You are completely exhausted but you are joyful at making another person’s dreams come true.

Yesterday, twenty five team members went to the Guatemala City zoo with 90 of the cutest children. The Guatemala zoo is extremely nice and the children loved every minute of it. For the majority of our children, it was the first time for them to go to the city. Four hours on a bus was worth it for the children!

We were able to take the children to the zoo because this group has given generously towards ministering. The children saw lots of animals and played hard on the playground. They did not go home hungry as they ate cookies, ice cream, popcorn, pizza, and more ice cream!

The other 20 team members finished building and concreting the remaining houses. They built and poured concrete for 7 houses. The team has built a total of 26 houses! Several of our students were able to help which is always a good thing.

Last night, the team shared a meal with all of our teachers and workers. It was a typical meal of estofado, rice, Russian salad, and tortillas. The meal was delicious and the fellowship was sweet.

This morning the team will listen to the children sing, say good-byes, and have house dedications.

26 Houses. 600 Food Bags. 350 Meals Served. 11 Baptisms. 1 Zoo Field Trip with 90 Children. 1 Quinceañera for 5 Beautiful Young Women.

A very productive, Spirit-filled, good exhaustion, fast week by some wonderful people who have served in the name of Jesus.
